Impact Winter, Kickstarter makes chilling

indius actualites Impact Winter, le Kickstarter qui fait froid dans le dos Survie Mojo Games Kickstarter Impact Winter

In the melee of the number of compact survival games appeared in campaign or already on the market, Impact Winter has there enough original arguments to convince?

Impact Winter is the name given to the possibility that an asteroid five miles across at least hits our planet, throwing enough debris into the atmosphere to obscure the light of our gentle sun and cause a permanent winter. Impact Winter, Mojo Bones therefore prevents the start: you cold. You are lost in this hostile looking for resources that will help you survive a little longer décor. Until your faithful "Ako-Light", a small flying robot by your side, captures a strange radio transmission warning you: "Relief will arrive in 30 days."

The title of Mojo Bones mix mechanical means from games like Do not Starve for the constant search for resources and crafting system, however, along with other management oriented concepts as did Zafehouse: Diaries and more recently This War Of Mine. Add to that a very limited inventory like Diablo or Unturned thus forcing you to make choices, and you have the recipe for a good game that, with proper dosage, can be very fun to experiment with.

However, nothing very original in Impact Winter yet except maybe mechanical cold-related, very little used until very recent The Long Dark for example, and those attached to your robot friend. Your companion is actually described as essential as it maps out and tells you your camp as well as some points of interest. He can also dig the deep snow with a heating revealing valuable resources, or more simply light up the night ray. Unfortunately, these bonuses are limited by the energy available to it, so it will often charge to your base, the risk of it running out of juice.

Imagine wearing a robot on your back, alone in the cold night. Avoid unpleasant encounters with the local wildlife, whether animal or human .... Because what is interesting in Impact Winter, is that the whole world wants you dead. Stay too long in the cold and frostbite falls on you, making you definitely lose points endurance more useful. Without eating, your character will move more slowly on the long road separating it from home - exposing himself while longer to frostbite. There are many factors to consider in order to survive.
